What are the Entry Requirements?
All students with the qualifications to enter Sixth Form are welcome on the course. However, there is a definite prerequisite to have an interest and enthusiasm for the subject! This subject is not exam based and students are reminded that this is not an “easy option”. To gain the higher grades involves considerable higher level individual research, analysis and evaluation skills. In addition students are expected to complete a summer project.

What are the Career Opportunities?
The BTEC level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism is designed to provide an introduction to the industry and those wishing to have careers within the sectors. These careers include retail, travel, visitor attractions, accommodation, transport and tour operations.
The majority of careers involve communication, presentation and confidence skills. All of these life skills will be gained whilst studying the course.
