What can you do with Politics A’ Level?

As well as offering you insights into the ways in which the British political system works, the A-level will help you to develop an enquiring and critical mind, enabling you to evaluate the world around you. You will be able to weigh up arguments and assess evidence and examine issues from a variety of different views. As such, an A-level in Politics provides an excellent background for careers in law, journalism, civil service, the caring professions, the armed forces, teaching and a range of management and business areas. Politics is an A level respected by all Universities as a serious A Level.

You might, of course, become Prime Minister!

What do students say about Politics?

‘I couldn’t have asked for a better starting point studying Law than I had at Polesworth.

The department might be the friendliest in the whole school and I enjoyed every minute of (most of) my lessons.

My A Levels teachers gave me my first experience of independent study and research, which have stood me in great stead at university, and I still regularly call on information I learnt at school.

I can’t recommend Politics at Polesworth highly enough!
